REFLEXIO
Empowering Younger Generations to Analyse Information Wisely
The REFLEXIO programme partners with schools, local organisations, experts, and coaches to foster reflective thinking skills, and media literacy, among youth. Empowering them to become active and responsible global citizens.
“Education is not the
learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think."
A. Einstein
Young people today are flooded with information — from social media, news, family, and peers. In this noisy world, knowing how to think is more important than ever.
Reflective thinking isn’t automatic. It needs space, guidance, and practice.
REFLEXIO offers just that — an enriching, extracurricular journey where young minds learn to pause, question, and analyze.
Through engaging activities, they build the skills to filter information, spot what’s credible, and form confident, well-grounded opinions.
It’s not about what to think — it’s about learning how.
9%
of 15-year-olds in OECD countries can confidently recognise facts from opinions when reading complex texts
(OECD PISA, 2018)
90%
of young people in low-income countries have no access to programmes that teach reflective thinking and prepare them to be active citizens
(Unicef, 2020)
70%
of children in low- and middle-income countries cannot understand a simple text by age 10
(World Bank, 2022)
At REFLEXIO, we envision a generation of young people equipped with the skills to reflect, question, and discern.
Our goal is to foster reflective thinking that enables youth to navigate the complexity of today’s world, resist misinformation, and make thoughtful choices.
By complementing formal education, REFLEXIO empowers young students to grow as active, responsible citizens who can contribute to more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient societies.
Our Vision
What Makes REFLEXIO different?
REFLEXIO combines theory and hands-on experiences that bring learning to life through real-case scenarios, playful challenges, and insightful discussions. Led by trainers and animators, this approach creates a shared, active learning experience rather than a traditional top-down lecture — making the journey meaningful and engaging for every participant.
The programme is designed to be scalable and globally relevant, with the intention of reaching as many countries as possible.
Who Can Benefit from REFLEXIO?
Designed for students aged 8 to 18, REFLEXIO offers a structured yet imaginative extracurricular programme.
Each school year includes 8 engaging extra-curricular modules implemented after school hours, with the full collaboration and approval of the school.
How REFLEXIO Works
Built on a strong foundation of 80 universal modules that foster reflexive thinking applicable across all countries and cultures.
These modules are adapted with local examples and case studies to ensure students connect with key concepts in their own context.
Why REFLEXIO?
Young people today face an overwhelming flood of information from digital and traditional sources.
Reflective thinking skills don’t develop naturally; they require guidance and practice.
REFLEXIO fills this gap by equipping students with the ability to critically analyze information, discern credible sources, and form well-founded opinions — empowering them to navigate today’s complex world with confidence.

How do REFLEXIO Sessions Look Like?

REFLEXIO is designed as a 10-year educational path targeting students aged 8 to 18.
Each school year includes 8 structured and engaging modules,
resulting in a total of 80 unique modules.
Every 6 weeks during the school year, after classes,
participants take part in a dynamic, interactive 2-hour session that makes them think, reflect, and share.
These sessions are progressively tailored to the evolving
cognitive and social development of the students, grouped into primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary levels.
The content becomes increasingly complex over time, equipping young minds with reflective skills as they grow.
