Development Cooperation Awarness Programme (DCAP)

Bringing development cooperation closer to the next generation

Activities to raise awareness about development cooperation and related career opportunities, primarily aimed at high-school and university students as well as young professionals.

These activities provide insights into the field's impact and pathways, encouraging informed career choices in international development.

Why DC Awareness Matters

In schools and universities, international cooperation is presented mainly through the lens of donors and NGOs. While these institutions are essential, they are only part of the picture. A crucial actor often overlooked in education is the private consulting sector—companies that design, manage, and implement donor-funded projects worldwide.

Through our awareness-raising activities we highlight the variety of professional pathways available in development cooperation encouraging young people to make informed and ambitious career choices.

What is the DC Awarness Programme?
